Our team, led by Head Chef Matt Rodgers and Restaurant Supervisor Karli Nicholas, delivers a premium dining experience with an emphasis on sustainability and food provenance, offering the finest local and regional South Australian produce available.
With wide timber decks that allow diners to admire the sweeping valley landscapes, our restaurant offers a warm, rustic ambience and an elegant, yet understated atmosphere for guests to enjoy, as they sip our estate wines and feast on our mouth-watering food. The open fireplace heats the indoors through our frosty Adelaide winters, while a split-level patio offers a multitude of areas for soaking up a little sun – delight in an experience to indulge all of the senses.
Head Chef Matt Rodgers
Born and trained in the UK, Matt refined his skills in Michelin-starred restaurant kitchens in the UK and Ireland before relocating to Australia. His career includes time on Richard Branson’s Necker Island and at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Sat Bains.
Matt’s culinary philosophy aligns seamlessly with the ethos of Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard, emphasising the finest seasonal produce sourced from small farms around the Adelaide Hills and foraging for ingredients to create a menu that celebrates South Australia.
